Parent Information

Here, you will find useful information about the school day, uniform requirements and letters that have recently been given out at school.

EVERY LESSON COUNTS

School sessions are from 8.50am until 12.05pm and 1.05pm until 3.20pm. For safe reasons children should not be on the premises before 8.30am and are only supervised from 8:40am when they are encouraged to come straight in to school to prepare themselves for their lessons. When a child is absent, telephone first and then a note of explanation should be sent on or before the day of return to school. Unexplained absences are considered unauthorised.

When a Doctor has stated that a child has a notifiable disease we would be grateful for early information.

We do not allow children to leave the school during the day unaccompanied. For appointments children must be collected by an adult.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES

Our school is committed to equal opportunities for all, both in the curriculum and in other areas of school life.

We value each pupil and adult, irrespective of ability, culture, race, gender, age or achievements. We encourage children to develop positive personal qualities and attitudes towards themselves, others and their work.

ACCESSIBILITY

In order to be fully inclusive we have tried to make our site as accessible as possible. Most areas around the school have level access. We have a space for disabled drivers to park, there is a fully accessible toilet and we have two portable induction loops. When visiting our school please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any assistance, we are always happy to help.
