Our official school hours at Netley Abbey Junior School are 8.50am-3.20pm which equates to 32.5 hours per week.  Classroom doors open from 8.40am to ensure all pupils have adequate time to prepare and be ready to start the school day promptly at 8.50am. 

Absence 

If your child is absent, please: 

• Contact us as soon as possible but by 9.20am by emailing [email protected] calling the school office on 02380 453 731 or completing an online Absence Notification Form. 
• If a child is absent, parents must contact us on the first day of absence, and each day thereafter unless agreed with the school.  If a child is absent and we haven't had any contact from the parent/carer we will investigate the reason for the absence.

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Keep your child off school if they have any of the main symptoms of COVID-19

• a high temperature
• a new, continuous cough
• a loss or change to their sense of smell or taste
